Our client is an award winning, Legal 500 ranked, full service law firm and they are looking to grow their Residential Property team! This fantastic part time Legal Assistant role would suit a highly organised person with administration experience. The firm are based in Farnborough and the successful candidates will working in a flexible, supportive, and encouraging environment!
This role will be working 20 hours per week which can be worked flexibly between Monday and Friday 9am to 5:30pm. This is an office based role offering a FTE salary of £23,088 (pro rata) plus an admin bonus.
Main responsibilities for the Part Time Legal Assistant role:
- Managing own workload of completions and assisting others with completions during absences and peak times.
- Collaborate with developers, solicitors and clients throughout process, from exchange to completion.
- Managing and resolving post completion requirements.
- Submitting stamp duty requirements, lender requirements and financial balances.
- Managing file closing in a meticulous manner with attention to detail.
- Assisting with other administrative tasks in other departments.
- Liaising with lenders with regards to mortgage offers.
- High level of organisation and management of a large workload, ensuring all your deadlines are met.
Skills required for the Part Time Legal Assistant role:
- Team player.
- Excellent IT skills
- At least 5 GCSE's grade 9 to 4 including Maths and English
- Great communication skills.
- Able to work top deadlines within a fast paced environment.
