Kitchen Porter

- Job Type: Temporary (2 days assignment)
- Dates and Times: 25/10/2024 and 26/10/2024 from 5pm - 10pm
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to assist our client at a prestigious hotel in Warwick for a short-term assignment on the 25th and 26th of October 2024, from 5pm-10pm. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, organised, and looking to gain experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
- Collect and wash up pots and pans.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- No formal qualifications required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be able to physically handle the demands of the job including standing for long periods, lifting heavy kitchen equipment, and moving quickly during busy periods.
