My construction client is looking to take on a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, who is brilliant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, and preferably with experience within the construction industry or a project-focused industry.
As a Finance Manager, you will help to be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Managing a team of 3 people and forming a key part of the site leadership team.
Your new role
- Manage the company's financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Manage a team of 3 people
- Project-based costings
- Prepare monthly reports for the Group FD.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to management.
- Manage the companies budget
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage and supervise the company's payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified. Would also consider QBE candidates with relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, and preferably with experience within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you'll get in return
The Finance Manager is paying c £50,000 to £65,000 per annum plus other benefits, flexible working and Hybrid.
