Development Accountant
- Hourly Rate: £22.44 PAYE
- Location: SE London
- Job Type: Hybrid (2-3 days on-site)
We are seeking Development Accountants to join our team on an immediate basis for a mini project focused on reconciliation. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in project and bank reconciliation, as well as experience in handling data from inception and historical records. Public sector project experience is desirable but not essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Pulling financial information from the finance system for analysis.
- Reviewing and verifying spend against the ledger and external information.
- Conducting valuations and budget reviews to ensure postings are correct.
- Performing reconciliation at the project level to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborating with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies identified.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to work with historical data and perform reconciliation at the project level.
- Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles.
- Public sector project experience is desirable but not a requirement.
- Qualification in accounting is advantageous, but candidates qualified by experience are also welcome to apply.
