Financial Accountant
- Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 plus study support for CIMA/ACCA

We are looking for a dedicated Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join a successful and fast paced team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career progression and training within a modern office environment. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, contributing to the financial health of the organisation through the maintenance of accurate records and reports.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Ensuring that financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Establishing and maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside recommending any updates and changes.
- Preparation of statutory and management accounts.
- Assisting with financial audits and collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Developing and maintaining financial databases and computer software systems.
- Analysis of financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, providing strategic recommendations and maintaining solutions to business and financial problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or currently studying towards one.
- Proven experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
