The Company
My client is a global leading manufacturer of bespoke process, FMCG and packaging machinery to a wide variety of industries. The company has been established for over 40 years. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional design engineer, 3D CAD design and projects experience.
Key Skills
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer - HND or Degree
- Experience of 3D CAD - Preferably Inventor/AutoCAD
- Manufacturing & Process Machinery Knowledge
The Role
Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience designing from initial concept, through to completed design. There will also be an element of re-engineering existing designs to meet customer demand. The machinery the successful candidate will be designing will generally be process, packaging, conveyor systems, including sheet metal, bills of materials, factory layouts, budgets and general project overseeing. The company use AutoCAD and Inventor. Candidate must have experience with 3D CAD and be able to perform site visits and liaise will all internal departments and external customer departments, and ideally HNC/Degree qualified.
