Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Assessment and Intervention Team. This full-time role offers an attractive pay rate of £39 per hour.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide effective services to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey
- Have strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Children's social care legislation, regulations, and guidance
- Manage duty and complex caseloads
- Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver effective planning for children and families
- Represent the Council at meetings, proceedings, and reviews as required
- Take referrals from MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)
- Complete assessments and Child in Need interventions
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working with children
