A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join my clients busy site in Ashford.
The transport planner will be responsible for the day to day running of the transport dept including:
Planning and arranging deliveries to customers
- Arrange collections and returns
- Plan drivers loads
- Use resources in most efficient way
- Assist with admin to ensue that drivers and vehicles meet legal requirements
- Assisting with driver compliance.
We are looking for candidates who have a knowledge and understanding of transport planning and driver compliance.
- Ideally you will a CPC qualification or FORS practitioner certificate
- Experience in driver compliance including tacho and working hours regulations
- Experience of planning routes
