Our client based in Tyne & Wear are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
Job description:
- Working on small precision assemblies.
- Documentation of assemblies.
- Installation within client sites when required.
- Cutting metal to specific measurements and re assembling to create bespoke products.
- Laying magnetic tape.
- Working with drills, cutting and grinding machinery.

Person specification:
- Must be a time served Mechanical Fitter.
- Valid CSCS is desirable but not essential.
- Must be able to work from Schematic drawings.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Must have a full UK driving license and own transport.
Working hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8.00am to 16.15pm
- Friday 8.00am - 14.00pm
- Overtime may be available.
