Our Client, a large, national consulting business with multidisciplinary noise expertise across a diverse range of environmental engineering fields requires an Acoustic Consultant to join their office in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Acoustic Consultant with a leaning towards building acoustics and experience ideally in the entertainment sector to rapidly develop their skills within a well developed team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of major projects in the residential, hospitality and education sectors.
Qualifications:
Qualified to BEng/BSc level or equivalent
IOA Membership
Full driving license
Experience
Ability to demonstrate effective project and people management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, self motivation, organised and an
aptitude to advise team members from other professions/technical backgrounds.
Technically competent and IT proficient.
Duties
Overall project management responsibilities for projects of various sizes.
Noise Impact Assessments
Provide advice on Sound Insulation and Architectural Acoustic Design.
Planning and Noise Assessments for residential developments.
Proven technical ability in terms of problem solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage time, resources and projects effectively.
Develop and secure new business, negotiating with clients and contractors to develop existing relationships and to forge new business relationships
