We are delighted to be working with this cutting-edge technology company in their pursuit of a Network Security Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis in Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Play a prominent role in safeguarding the organisation's network infrastructure
- Provide robust security solutions to safeguard against threats
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement security practices
- Implement changes, identify vulnerabilities and manage security incidents
The successful candidate will have:
- Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANS)
- Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting firewalls
- In depth knowledge of security protocols such as IPSec, SSL / TLS, VPNs and two factor authentication
- Understanding of network architectures and security zones (DMZ, internal networks)
- Proficient in monitoring technologies PRTG, Nagios
- Sole British Citizenship
