Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting for a Registered Manager (Childrens' Residential) in Nottingham.
The Registered Manager is to ensure efficient day-to-day running of residential home for children aged 8 - 17 years.
The ideal person for the Registered Manager position would be passionate about working with children and young people and in creating a safe, comfortable and caring home environment.
The Registered Manager would be accountable for:
- Delivering high quality care within the homes, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.
- Take responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day to day management matters.
- Lead a team along with other professionals providing care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
- Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
Requirements:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or working towards (Health and Social Care)
- A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People, Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare.
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory, management level position, residential care home for children and young people.
- Prior experience on a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager level position.
- Knowledge of Ofsted Inspection framework and, Quality Standards,
- Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as the Children Act 1989, the Children's home regulations (2015) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Knowledge of management of budgets and staff rotas
- Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic leader.
- A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
