This opportunity is for a Credit Controller who is proficient in daily hands on, telephone communication with accounts and overdue suppliers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts and reducing the amount of overdue invoices, categorised by age and value

Description

  • Manage customer accounts and contact them, mainly via phone to reduce DSO
  • Perform credit checks on potential clients
  • Escalate issues appropriately
  • Liaising with external stakeholders including senior management
  • Helping to resolve queries and disputes
  • Ensured that the debt was collected within monthly targets
  • Ensure all work is done within company guidelines

Profile

A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:

  • A track record of providing results in a highly independent setting.
  • Previous exposure of working within a targeted collections environment
  • An ability to tailor their approach depending on the setting and account they are dealing with
  • Excellent customer service skills and manner
