My large client in the utilities sector is currently looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect to join their team on a 6 month contract basis to assist with their internal application on Microsoft Dynamics 365 based platform and support their Campaign, Sales and Customer Services Capabilities (called Evolve). Microsoft Dynamics CE and Finance / Operations are the specific components implemented and they are looking for an SME to take the lead on this project.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze the current state of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application landscape and propose solutions that deliver the business requirements and align with the strategic vision and goals of the organisation.
- Create and maintain solution architecture artifacts, such as diagrams, models, standards, and guidelines, that document the design and implementation of the solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the DevOps teams and ensure the adherence to the solution architecture principles and best practices.
- Review and validate the technical deliverables of the DevOps teams and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Skills that would make you successful in this role:
- Background and experience as a Solutions Architect.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ideally CE and F&O Modules
- Understand a broad range of modern Architecture patterns and technologies, ideally including current digital technologies.
- Strong understanding of Cloud based solutions, from IAAS, PAAS and SaaS, and with Cloud best practices, with a strong preference for Azure and AWS.
