We are working with a fast-growing investment bank and seeking a detail orientated HR Assistant to join the team on a one-year fixed term contract. You'll be involved in all aspects of human resources from recruitment to on boarding, from employee relations to compliance.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join a rapidly growing investment bank. This role, based in the City of London, offers a competitive salary of £50,000. The successful candidate will be joining on a one-year fixed-term contract. Your ability to handle routine HR duties will contribute significantly to the smooth running of the department.

What you'll do:

As an HR Assistant, your role will be pivotal in supporting the growth of our client's London office. You'll be involved in all aspects of human resources from recruitment to on boarding, from employee relations to compliance.

  • Assist with recruitment and communicate effectively with agencies and candidates.
  • Support Know Your Employee (KYE) processes and ensure smooth on boarding.
  • Help develop employee relations programs and ensure compliance with Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Support payroll processes and ensure accurate pay and benefits.
  • Record payroll data, issue tax forms, and answer queries.
  • Assist with benefit administration.
  • Support the implementation of HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems.
  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including redundancies and employee relations.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Handle routine HR duties such as preparing HR documents and organising events.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is necessary for this role
