This professional membership body, based in central London, is looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Officer on a temporary basis to ensure effective engagement with their membership base, fully utilising their email, website, events, and social media platforms to recruit and retain members.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Marketing Officer:
- Contribute to the delivery of membership recruitment and retention marketing activities.
- Work closely with internal staff and external agencies to support the development of member recruitment campaigns, including digital advertising and outbound calling.
- Undertake content generation and copywriting for email, direct mail, and digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with members, working across projects including case studies, testimonials, and other content development.
- Administrative responsibilities, including monitoring shared marketing inbox, data cleansing, and committee secretariat duties.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard or with equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable experience of running membership recruitment and marketing campaigns within a membership environment, and with knowledge of email marketing platforms and PPC advertising.
- Outstanding copywriting and interpersonal skills, with experience of customer relationship and communications responsibilities.
- Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
Salary:
- c£23 per hour.
- Temporary, full-time position.
- Immediate start and due to last for approx. 5 months.
- Remote working.
