We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant team at a lovely new school. This full-time role is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and skilled educator who is eager to inspire and shape the minds of our Year 5 students.
Day to day of the role:
- Develop and deliver creative and comprehensive lesson plans that meet the educational needs of Year 5 students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to participate and excel.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective teaching strategies and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, involving them in their child's learning journey.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Year 5 Teacher or in a similar Key Stage 2 role.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent classroom management abilities and a passion for teaching.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
