Mental Health Paralegal

Our client based in the Walsall area are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Paralegal to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Advise and complete documentation and progressing matters through various stages in preparation for hearing.
  • Interview clients.
  • Travel to see clients at various locations in the Midlands area.
  • Draft and file documents with Court and prepare Court Bundles.
  • Make legal aid applications.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Must have use of own car and possess a full clean driving licence.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have good time management skills and be reliable.
  • Have strong spelling and grammar skills.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

This role would suit an enthusiastic person who is looking to develop their skills and experience.

You MUST have a full clean driving licence and your own car.

Legal experience with working knowledge of legal aid procedures would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
