The AFC global Reporting team is part of the Office of the Group Anti-Money Laundering Officer (GAMLO) in the AFC function.

Your role as Head of the team will include the review and control of a portfolio of reports, the steering and development of an international team, and development and control of a wider Reporting related Book-of-Work, including the remediation of Findings.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead, steer, and develop a team across Germany, United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States. Oversee reporting productivity and team development
  • Ensure production of approximately 20 global and regional reports on Financial Crime Risk (FCR) for AFC senior management, the Management and Supervisory Board. Produce audience-oriented content, ensure accuracy, and timeliness
  • Key AFC Reporting contact for AFC's senior management and stakeholders outside of AFC
  • Responsible for global and regional Findings and their remediation related to AFC Reporting. Direct improvements, effectivity and standardisation in global and regional AFC reports
  • Support other strategic activities in the GAMLO Office

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent editorial and writing skills, ability to connect content and form holistic storylines. Ability to transform submitted content into narratives and guide content producer to submit better written updates
  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of the FCR framework of Deutsche Bank
  • Experience managing people/ stakeholders. Proven experience in leading teams across locations
  • Robust, credible, and organisationally savvy, with the ability to grasp complex issues quickly
  • Background in law or similar field that emphasises clear and concise writing
