Cedar have partnered with a luxury travel company who are recruiting for a proactive and personable Finance Executive to join their expanding and busy team.

The role will report to the Processing & Treasury Manager and will be a key member of the finance team dealing with accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations and month end tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the finance inbox.
  • Reconcile guest receipts on a daily basis across multiple platforms and currencies and maintain large data sets.
  • Complete monthly reconciliations of all receivables on the Balance Sheets of multiple entities
  • Provide finance support to homeowner and guest facing teams, including handling ad hoc queries from the wider business.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to drive efficiency and development of existing finance processes and take ownership of guest receivable processes.
  • Identify and drive potential opportunities for process improvements across within the finance function.
  • Preparation of homeowner and property management company payments and reconciling in Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Maintain up to date records of the guest security deposit and submit refunds when due.
  • Providing assistance with month end close and reporting.
  • Reconciling homeowner statements and managing discrepancies
  • Performing ad hoc AP/AR duties as required
  • Supporting the Finance team with the implementation of the new company platform

Person specification

  • 2+ years relevant experience working in a fast-paced Finance team for a global company
  • Experience working with multiple legal entities and managing transactions in various currencies (ideally GBP, EUR and USD)
  • Efficient and well organised with ability to multi task and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent team player
  • Good MS Excel knowledge (v-lookups, pivot tables etc.)
  • Ability to pick out inaccuracies and exacting attention to detail
  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferable
  • Capacity to adapt, test and learn quickly
  • Preferably qualified or studying towards a finance degree/qualification
