Digital Support & Finance Apprentice

Responsibilities:

  • You will become an expert in Xero finance system to raise invoices
  • Assist the Finance Manager with all bank statements and updating necessary spreadsheets using Excel
  • Act as the first response to chase up and enquire about all debt
  • Ensure that the current account for the company is checked daily
  • Use online shared drives and client portals to update order information daily
  • Learn how to ensuring payment plans are arranged when instructed, issued to clients and payments received
  • Keep clients files up to date on using Microsoft
  • Set up standing orders/direct debits for clients
  • Learn how to use Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping duties

Required skills:

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical

Salary:

£16,512 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4pm (working from home on Fridays and one other day per week once fully trained)
