Business Development Graduate
Location - Whitstable - Hybrid
Salary - Circa £30,000 per annum
Hours - Permanent Full Time
If so, we have an exciting opportunity in Whitstable for a Business Development Graduate to work for one of our clients who is a rapidly growing avionics specialist and designer and manufacturer of electronic hardware.
As the Business Development Graduate your responsibilities would include:
- Research into customers, their current and future requirements and how they relate to expanding capabilities.
- Create detailed business opportunity/development reports and plans and present these to the Managing Director.
- Manage multiple customer accounts and activities related to new business development and deliver agreed objectives on time and in full.
- Promote the products and capabilities of the company via multiple avenues and media types in accordance with agreed plans and is support of defined strategic goals.
- Manage copywriting activities and business social media exposure.
- Support website content development to optimise product and capability exposure to our intended audience.
- Assist in internal analysis of the company's strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats and contribute to the definition of future strategic goals associated with these factors.
Person Specification:
- Does not need any previous experience.
- Will hold a degree level qualification in business management or a similar subject.
- Will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills at all levels and to a varied audience.
- Will have the desire to demonstrate ownership of the role and the confidence to influence the direction of the organisation in terms of product and capability development and strategic goals.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite is essential and experience with, or knowledge of, Microsoft applications potentially up to and including Microsoft Dynamics and AI tools such as copilot and ChatGPT would be advantageous.
