Job Title: Trainee Paint Shop Operative
Location: Leicestershire, LE12
Salary: £12.00 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience
Shift: 7:30am to 4pm Mon to Fri

The Company:
A leading metal fabrication business located in the East midlands that produces medium sheet metal fabrications for the UK and worldwide.
The Trainee Paint Shop Operative Role:
- Load and unload machinery
- Assist paint sprayers
- Sanding and fettling
- Use of hand and power tools
- Preparing parts for spraying
- Training with paint spraying and proper use of equipment
- Any other duties as request
The Candidate
- Have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Be comfortable with consistent heavy lifting
- Be competent with the use of hand and power tools
- Be good at taking verbal and visual training instructions
- Be willing to undertake other duties such as loading and unloading, assembly and paint preparation
- Be reliable and flexible towards working hours and overtime
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be proactive and suggest improvements.
