We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in order to support the current Battery Plant operation and development of a new world class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most exciting, large scale industrial developments in many years, where new and emerging technologies will be adopted in support of the rapidly growing electric vehicle marketplace
The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, as Project Engineer you will have ownership and responsibility for all engineering and technical delivery to ensure effective launch and industrialisation of new products for customers. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all technical activities to ensure the project is delivered on time in full from concept to completion.
In this high profile role, you will give confidence to customers in the launch of new products and delivery of existing whilst challenging throughout Envision to ensure customer expectations are met.
About you
With a minimum HNC/HND in an engineering discipline, you will have previous experience in managing new product introduction into manufacture with previous experienced in managing automotive OEM's expectations. With previous experience in managing budgets and resource, you will also have well developed communication skills to give confidence to customers, challenge/influence throughout the plant to solve problems to meet customers requirements on time in full to budget.
