English Teacher - Salford - Part time

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to work at a secondary school in Salford to join them as soon as possible on a part time basis for the remainder of the academic year on supply and will then become permanent.

This role is a part time (0.8) position and is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of English. Please note, that you will be required to work Monday to Thursday and from 12 noon until 6pm.

The successful candidate will need to immediately fully immerse themselves in the school and department and assist in planing and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

English Teaching experience in the UK required

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide two professional references
