We are a small but wonderfully organised recruitment agency in Ringwood currently looking for a new team member as one of our team follows her dreams of travelling to Europe and beyond.

The role involves establishing contact with new and existing candidates of The Work Shop and establishing a clear and concise understanding of their situation regarding their current and future employment. This relationship needs to be maintained as far as possible until the candidate is either placed in a job or finds their own position.

Consultants will then to use this information to assist Recruitment Consultants in matching candidates to appropriate job roles.

Main duties

Calling all new candidates registered on Reed / CV Library each morning and either leaving a message, sending an email or conducting a full front screen. Chasing candidates who haven't initially responded regularly.

  • Calling all candidates who have recently signed in to Reed and re establishing contact and up dating their records as necessary
  • Downloading CV's to Red
  • Update Data base accurately and appropriately
  • Making a high volume of fast paced outbound calls in order to reach all candidates in an appropriate time frame bearing in mind that they will be receiving calls from many agents to potentially pitch the same job role
  • Establishing a rapport and developing a relationship with the candidate in order to establish The Work Shop as the preferred agency
  • Asking engaging questions to develop a real understanding of the candidate's motivators for looking for work and using open questions to develop an awareness of all relevant information that will have a bearing on their situation.
  • Working closely with the Recruitment Consultants to carry out searches using the Job Boards and also Red database to identify suitable candidates
  • Sending emails through Red database as a means of staying in contact with candidates and monitoring all responses.
  • Maintaining regular contact with "hot candidates" and "immediately available" candidates.
  • Responding appropriately to applications received from job advertisements
  • Inviting candidates in to register and conducting full interviews to ascertain candidate's suitability
  • Scanning all relevant documentation into candidate's library
  • Gathering market information from candidates - where are they interviewing, what is happening in their company. Using initiative to understand relevance of this information
  • Ad Hoc admin duties
