The Job You'll Do;

  • The role will be a 70 / 30 split between quality and tech support / warranty respectively, which may fluctuate at times depending on business requirements.
  • ISO 9001 compliance and support.
  • Internal process auditing.
  • Report writing and presentations from findings.
  • Liaise with shopfloor and office regarding any issues relating to specifications and components.
  • Update and distribute KPI graphs and metrics: COP, COPQ, Failure Modes, Inspection Results.
  • Create and issue Quality Reports and Alerts for major, moderate and repeat minor issues.
  • Updating and creating SOP's and work Instructions for internal procedures.
  • Assist with quality improvement plans generated from metric reviews.
  • Supplier concern notification.
  • Work with the Customer Support Coordinator & Quality Manager to resolve customer issues in a timely manner & in the best interests of all parties.
  • For more complex issues not handled by the Customer Support Coordinator, investigate the project history and operate as the customers main point of contact & manage the issues through to resolution.
  • Prepare & issue site modification quotations.
  • Create & issue orders or requisitions for Factory parts or new components from suppliers, respectively.
  • Report to management on customer support issues, identifying both financial risk and areas for future improvement based on lessons learned.

About You;

  • ISO 9001:2015 and document control understanding and experience.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis or problem-solving tools e.g. FMEA, 8D and DMAIC.
  • Have experience within the HVAC sector and / or project management (Desirable).
  • Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft IT systems.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised and towards a schedule.
  • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Have good written & communication skills Confidently liaising with customers, Team Leaders and departmental Managers.
  • Supplier NCR experience.
  • Be a "Team Player" with a Positive Attitude and a 'can do' mindset when faced with a challenge.
