Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturer and distributor of plumbing parts in the UK, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join their dynamic team in Lichfield.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Stock Receipt & Despatch: Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring everything is in order.
  • Picking, Packing, and Checking Stock: Accurately fulfil orders by picking, packing, and verifying items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Delivery Driver Coordination: Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
  • Stock Location Recording: Keep meticulous records of stock locations within the warehouse.
  • Stock Movement: Assist in moving stock to the assembly area as needed.
  • Assembly & Testing: Participate in the assembly and testing of products to maintain high-quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking individuals who are:

  • Eager to Learn: We offer plenty of training opportunities, so a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
  • Hands-On: If you enjoy working with your hands, this role is perfect for you. Any engineering knowledge will be a plus.
  • Effective Communicators: Good communication skills are vital to work effectively within the team.
  • Punctual: Reliable timekeeping is crucial in our fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to Train: We're happy to provide training for manual handling and forklift truck operation.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
