14-month fixed term contract opportunity to join a highly successful international business.
This position is to start ASAP - latest start date will be 1st July.
Hybrid working – 35 hour working week, with an early finish on Friday. Free onsite parking available. Up to £40,000 salary, plus performance related end of contract bonus.
In this sole charge Procurement Manager role, you will be managing a broad range of product categories, including sourcing, negotiating pricing, and supplier relationship management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Sourcing for new products or categories to add to the current product range alongside streamlining the existing product selection.
- Oversee range planning, pricing, and establish sourcing criteria for new products.
- Building and maintain positive vendor relationships to secure better pricing and service.
- Managing tenders and sourcing requests, focusing on sustainable product options.
- Collaborating with internal teams on marketing communications and production of brochures, catalogues, and management of customer-facing websites.
- Competitor analysis and benchmarking for product offerings.
- Develop product costing sheets to inform decision-making and optimise profit margins
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant experience in procurement and sourcing
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in maintaining supplier relationships with a keen eye for detail.
