Deputy Manager

Our client successful hire company established over 50 years is looking to recruit an ambitious, articulate and efficient Deputy Manager to complement their team. Reporting to the Depot manager key responsibilities will include;

Manage all depot operations in the Depot Manager's absence.

Address open quotations promptly.

Minimize overdue cash hires by following up diligently.

Handle initial loss and damage cases and coordinate with the Depot Manager.

Maintain consistent stock levels.

Supervise and optimize transport planning for the depot.

Support the Sales Hire Controller with order processing.

Achieve contract conversion rates of 85% or higher.

Ensure no equipment is hired out without inspection.

Answer all telephone calls professionally and accurately.

Increase sales of various pruducts

Achieve depot targets.

Contribute to the overall sales targets of the depot.

You will be an established professional with demonstrable experience in the hire or associated industry. You will also possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to create professional relationships with a variety of clients. Experience within the hire industry is a distinct advantage
