Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Hybrid, 2/3 Days On-Site
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Interviews: 2 Stages, 1st Stage W/C 14th October
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join a dynamic team in Hertfordshire. This hybrid role will require the candidate to be on-site two or three days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Utilise SQL for data extraction and transformation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Create and optimise DAX queries to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with finance teams to support financial modelling and the analysis of financial statements, including debits and credits.
- Perform data validation and sanity checks to ensure the reliability of reports.
- Assist in the design and implementation of BI solutions that support strategic business objectives.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with front-end Power BI reporting.
- Strong knowledge of DAX for report development.
- Experience in financial modelling and understanding of financial statements (including debits/credits and sanity checks).
- Proficiency in data modelling, dashboard design and advanced Excel skills.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a BI or data analysis role.
- A background in a corporate environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
