Insurance Claims Technician

Location: Swansea

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home during trial period)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to Enquiries: Provide professional responses to policy holder enquiries and correspondence.
  • Customer Support: Reassure and support customers through the claims process.
  • Claims Investigation: Establish the circumstances of a claim and make necessary enquiries.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Efficiently and economically negotiate claim settlements.
  • Repair Coordination: Promote and ensure the use of our approved supply chain for vehicle repairs.
  • Third-Party Claims: Pursue recovery of Underwriter's outlay or negotiate third-party claims.
  • Product Knowledge: Build expertise in our products and services.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as a key liaison, providing regular updates to customers throughout the claims process.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Clear, responsive interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to check work
  • Deep understanding of good customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong prioritisation abilities
  • Desire to continually improve ways of working
