Payroll / Accounts Administrator

Our exclusive client based in Blackburn are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join their payroll team. This business have grown rapidly over the past 10 years and need someone with a high level of accuracy to be the administration support to the payrollers.

Duties include:

  • Dealing with new starters and leavers including entering data onto the payroll system
  • Create employee records within the time and attendance system to enable new starts to clock in and clock out
  • Check weekly clock cards for all employees and raise any queries with department heads
  • Check and prepare depot timesheets for input including any additions and deductions
  • Check and process and mileage claims
  • Dealing with and resolving any payroll queries

You don't need previous payroll experience to be considered for this role however you do need to be able to work accurately and to tight deadlines whilst also understanding the confidentiality issues surrounding the role.

In return you will receive a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and there is free parking. It is a 37.5 hour week and the company can be flexible on start and finish times.
