The role

Salary - £25,000

Specific Administrative Responsibilities

  • Provide admin support to the Management on site
  • Co-ordination of daily telephone calls, letters and e-mails to ensure they are dealt with timely
  • Purchase order processing
  • Ensure necessary documents and correspondence are produced in a timely, accurate and confidential manner
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, including the distribution of information for meetings
  • General office duties to include but not limited to copying and preparing documents, office supply management and other clerical duties
  • Co-ordination of site visits/meetings
  • Ability to develop and populate spreadsheets, collating information as necessary
  • Additional admin duties as requested

Health and Safety

Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety commitment to ensure that the corporate PROUD ethos is
visible and promoted throughout all activities carried out at the site.

  • Ensure you carry out your duties safely and compliantly
  • Ensure correct PPE worn if out on site at all times
  • Report any issues related to safety immediately to site management
  • Report any near miss/accidents/incidents/non-conformance

SAP Duties

  • Daily data entry
  • Checking and reconciliation of HWCN (Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes) in conjunction with transport and Plant personnel for billing purposes
  • Month end account reconciliation
  • Respond to customer enquiries on deliveries/collections & invoices (service related)
  • Update and maintain administrative sections of the SAP System database
  • Assist sales efforts with customers (ensure correct account set up etc.)
  • Assisting with the co-ordination of consignment notes/documentation, including the printing and dispatch of the HWCN

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication/listening, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to detail
  • Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
  • Administrative skills, i.e. typing, co-ordination of management reports
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in an environment with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive, confidential information on a regular basis

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with SAP computer system and accounting principles
