Location: Great Barr

Salary: Between £12-£15 an hour (negotiable)

Hours: Full time

Do you have a passion for working with Early Years? Have you had previous experience working in a Nursery setting? Or are you currently a Nursery Practitioner looking for a new environment?

A Nursery in the Great Barr area are seeking a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time and permanent basis.

This specific Nursery is a warm, nurturing environment where they aim to inspire and care for children in their early years. They are dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating space for children to explore, learn and grow. Their dedicated team is at the heart of their success, and they are now looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join them!

The Nursery holds opportunities for ongoing professional development and training. This is your chance to make a real difference in children's early years education.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality care and education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Follow all health, safety and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Support children's development and make sure they are engaged in a range of creative and learning activities.

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • A Right To Work in the UK.
  • Provide 2 sufficient references.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A good understanding of safe guarding regulations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • First Aid qualifications.

To be a Nursery Practitioner, you must be passionate about working with children and supporting their learning and development and have had experience in planning and implementing activities suitable for the specific age ranges.
