This Primary School in the South of Liverpool is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team and work in their Reception class in a long-term, full-time role.
Your new role
The successful Special Needs teaching assistant will work on a one-on-one basis with a pupil in their reception class. You will be supporting the pupil in all core subjects. As a Teaching Assistant, your job is to enhance and enrich the learning of the pupil in your care. You will work hard to ensure the pupil is constantly engaged with an overall aim of improving their behaviour and their subject knowledge.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant must also be committed, as this pupil relies on a set routine. We are looking for a teaching assistant who not only has recent and relevant experience but who has good knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work with SEN pupils.
Must have referenceable experience in a school or nursery setting.
