Web Editor / CMS Editor

£35-40k annual salary

THE COMPANY
A global agency, who has an amazing portfolio of clients and offices across the globe are looking for a CMS Editor on a contract who has experience in headless CMS in particular. The role will join an existing team of perm staff and will be the third hire into the team in recent months, as this project and client really begins to build momentum,. The role is offered as a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract and it definitely has long term perm potential as you would expect with a large, global agency brand. The role is working hybrid- 2 days from home and 3 days from their Central London base office.
THE ROLE
The Web Editor will work as part of the wider web and content marketing team . The role of CMS Editor / web executive will be to work on the website administration and content tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating content across a suite of websites for a very large, global, end client
As the Web Editor the task will entail building/editing pages with pre-set components, so no development knowledge is required. There will be a lot of copying, pasting and moving modules from one page to another. The role is helping the Marketing team to manage the main .com website for a brilliant end client. In terms of CMS experience they look for Contentful or AEM as a preference.
YOU
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills:
- CMS Editing (Managing content, images and media on the CMS)
- CMS Management (Implement existing modules, strategies and features across several websites)
- Technical capabilities (Ability to work on HTML, CSS & Javascript. Conduct regular browser testing and oversee website performance)
- Ability to QA and work with the dedicate QA person to ensure quality and functionality are spot on
- A keen eye for copywriting is a bonus!
