Our client, a leading player in the insurance industry, is seeking dedicated and experienced Environmental Loss Adjuster to join their team across the UK. With a focus on innovation and exceptional customer service, our client is committed to providing top-notch services in compliance with industry standards. They are seeking a skilled professional to manage a diverse caseload of complex environmental impairment liability claims and high-value first and third-party pollution incidents. As an integral part of the team, you'll leverage your technical expertise to investigate claims thoroughly, ensuring compliance with client requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate environmental claims from inception to resolution, adhering to client requirements and service standards.

Assess policy liability and quantum, gathering evidence to support recommendations promptly.

Provide market-leading service and product on behalf of our client, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • Extensive knowledge of liability and/or property insurance claims and principles.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in negotiation and investigation.
  • High level of IT competency and literacy.
  • Personal and professional integrity, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, meeting deadlines and service standards.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varying situations.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum DIP CII / DIP CILA or willingness to work towards certification.

You will have a minimum 3 years of experience in first or third-party property damage claims. A background in insurance claims/adjusting, with expertise in handling claims involving property damage. Experience with environmental claims preferred, but applicants with experience in complex liability or high-value property claims are encouraged to apply. A full driving license required.
