Finance Manager Hybrid

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work for a lovely company based in the Redhill, Surrey area. This is a great hybrid working, Finance Manager job which is ideal for someone with proven people management skills as well as a transactional accounting background. The Finance Manager will ideally be fully qualified or soon to qualify, great people skills, technical accounting, financial reporting, month end and year end process etc.

Salary: up to £60K

Location: Hybrid working - 2 days office based - Redhill

Finance & Accounting Manager duties:

  • Review and manage the month end close process
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly reconciliation process
  • Prepare trial balance for income and expenditure
  • Monitoring and providing commentary on group accounts - reporting
  • Set processes and oversee the day-to-day finance - accounting operations
  • Prepare trial balance for income and expenditure and balance sheet accounts
  • Managing a finance team of 3-4

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience working in a similar, Finance Manager, Accountant type role, managing a team
  • Ideally be a fully qualified or part qual, working within the charity / not for profit / housing / care / government type sector
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
