Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Director for a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover for their current director who will be dedicating time to a special project. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can oversee the financial operations and provide expert guidance to their finance team.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organisation.
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the company's goals.
- Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company.
- Create and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Work closely with other departments to help them plan and manage their budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Financial Director or similar executive role.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
- Excellent understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
