Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border
Hourly Rate: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only
**About the Role
Join our team as an SEN Learning Support Assistant and make a real difference in the lives of students aged 5-19, who have social, emotional struggles, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.. In this exciting role, you'll work closely with a talented teaching team to provide both academic and vocational support, helping students unlock their potential and thrive both in and out of the classroom. From hands-on outdoor Bushcraft activities to life skills sessions, every day will bring new opportunities to inspire and empower students to succeed.
You'll be at the heart of a dynamic, specialized learning environment, where your support will help students manage sensory overload, reduce anxiety, and navigate transitions as they work toward their personal and academic goals.
**Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
- Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
- Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
- Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
- Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.

- Willing to support outdoor and community-based learning activities.
- Educated to at least Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
