Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Senior Energy Analyst based in Edinburgh (hybrid working) paying up to £85,000 plus fantastic bonus, pension & benefits.

This renewable companies immediate focus is there hugely impressive projects portfolio, but medium to long-term the business has an exceptional appetite for growth with M&A massively high on the agenda to diversify the technology portfolio and expand into different global territories.

The Role

This role is perfectly balanced between commercial and modelling activities for both operational assets and the future investment strategy - due diligence, mergers & acquisitions.

The key components of the role will include:

  • Supporting SLT and Board with strategic, direction and decision making in relation to corporate development, strategy and investments
  • Modelling & commercial requirements for current investments
  • Modelling & commercial requirements for future potential investments - financing, mergers, acquisitions, divestment
  • Business case planning to support with market activities & analysis

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a competent modeller with experience of the energy industry, ideally renewables.

The employer is happy to consider applications of those operating inhouse in a modelling role, or those operating in a consultancy/advisory capacity supporting external clients/projects.
