Job Title: Payroll Officer
Location: Warrington
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Role Summary:
The Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees within the organisation. This standalone position involves managing the weekly payroll for 170 drivers and 25 garage staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and verifying daily, weekly, or monthly timesheets.
- Calculating bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
- Preparing employees' compensation using openpeople payroll software.
- Ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations.
- Collaborating with internal departments, such as HR, to provide payroll-related data and reports.
- Overseeing all payroll-related tasks, including tax, NI, SSP, and year-end duties.
Requirements:
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with payroll regulations.
- Strong Excel and payroll system skills.
- Prior experience in payroll administration.
