We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning further educational institution based in the West Midlands, who are looking to appoint a People Partner on a 5-month contract to support with a project around the standardisation and harmonisation of contracts.
This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (4 days home working) and a salary of up to £45k.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a complex public sector organisation and have strong employment law knowledge.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Bringing all contingency workforce and lecturers onto the same contracts and terms & conditions
- Explaining and advising managers and senior leaders on aspects of employment law
- Drafting and issuing new contracts
- Supporting with some day-to-day HRBP activity as required (ER casework etc)
Experience required:
- Knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience working in a complex public sector organisation
Working hours :
- 37 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - Remote
- Thursday - Onsite
