Commercial Property Solicitor

An established law firm with a family culture is looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team in North Shields. This role offers the opportunity to work within a long-standing firm that values its staff and promotes from within. You will be supervised and mentored by the head of the department and supported by dedicated secretarial staff.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handling a variety of commercial property matters, including leases, purchases, sales, and financing.
- Providing legal advice to a diverse client base on all aspects of commercial property law.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial property contracts and agreements.
- Working closely with the head of the department to ensure high-quality legal service delivery.
- Collaborating with secretarial staff to manage documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Engaging in business development activities to maintain and grow the firm's commercial property portfolio.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1-year post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial property law.
- Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and legal principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the firm's family culture.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail.
- Ambitious and driven, with a desire for professional growth and progression.
