JOB TITLE: Systems Support Engineer - 2nd Line
LOCATION: Bath
SALARY: c.£30K
WAY OF WORKING: Hybrid working, 50% time in the office
THE BUSINESS:
Market leading Data Analytics company. Primary focus of the role will be to support in-house, bespoke systems.
IT Support Technician:
- Responsible for referrals from Support Manager and 1st Line team.
- Covering incoming calls from customers: Live call environment.
- Examining logs for issues and faults.
- Ensuring the 2nd Level Support queue is up to date and customers are informed of progress at all times.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- Proven, demonstable expereince of managing bespoke systems and applications.
- Excellent understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Thorough understanding of SQL Server
- Previous use of MS Office/365
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a fast paced, live call environment.
There is a requirement to enter in to a 1-in-4 on call rota, which will cover busy weekends.
