Description

  • Sales Ledger - Raising ad-hoc Customer invoices/credit notes.
  • Purchase Ledger - processing supplier invoices, payments, and monthly statement reconciliations.
  • Bank Reconciliation - Ensure all transactions are processed daily and appropriately reconciled weekly.
  • Review and maintain accurate Record Management.
  • Prepare accounts to trial balance stage.
  • Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts.
  • Administration of electronic and manual bank records/mandates as required.
  • VAT Return preparation.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Credit Card reconciliation and control.
  • Inter Company reconciliation and control.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A solid foundation in Accounting & Finance
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications
