Account Director

Our client is seeking an Account Director to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong, long standing client relationships at a senior level to foster loyalty, trust and repeat business. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, a self-starter, with strong problem solving and a track record of account growth and retention.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify key areas of growth opportunity for your accounts including client development and retention planning
  • Create and articulate strategic marketing proposals with passion in response to client challenges or identified opportunities
  • Ensuring projects and programs are delivered on-time, to budget and to the highest standards
  • Stay close to client performance to support leading strategic conversations without the need for specialist involvement
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, managing client financials and service levels
  • Manage resource requirements and planning for your client's and the wider business
  • Negotiate with client's and other teams to get timely and quality deliverables

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders at a strategic level
  • Track record of account growth and retention
  • Experience managing mid to large sized B2B client's
  • Experience managing paid media projects
  • Superb organisational skills (always with a plan of action and forward thinking goals)
  • Validated leadership capability that inspires and effectiveness working collaboratively and cross functionally
