A fantastic role has arisen for a pricing specialist to join the purchasing and supply chain department of a growing parts and spares distribution business.
This is a strategic role with a large amount of data exposure.
So this role is needing someone who is an analytical thinker, with very good Excel skills and the ability to do stock profiling and forecasting.
Salary: £30-33,000 per annum
Hybrid working: Only 1 day a week in the office - Expected to be 5 days a week to start with for first few weeks, then will reduce down to 3 days and then 1 day a week. All within the first 3 months.

What You'll Do:
- Identifying anomalies causing loss of profit and repricing inline with company margin guidelines
- Analyse and monitor competitor pricing activity and suggest new pricing to increase sales and margin
- Analyse and review high and low converting lines and suggest price changes
- Monitor price changes made, collate, record and present the data
- Feedback uncompetitive pricing to the Purchasing department
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in order to drive performance
- Assign correct pricing profiles with the attention to detail of an art curator.
- Conduct investigations as directed into identified areas of concern related to profit and margin
- Setup and manage promotional pricing and multibuy offers
- Process supplier price increases, implementing price changes to maintain profit and margin
- Ensure all reports are in line with the companies data protection policy
What You'll Bring:
- A brainy background in analytics within a bustling consumer environment.
- Experience in Purchase/Pricing is a big plus
- Good with numbers
- Excel proficiency including vlookups and pivot tables
- A library of understanding of our current pricing mechanism and commercially savvy.
- Bonus points if you're fully trained on the AX system and can calculate faster than a calculator on Microsoft applications.
