Company Overview:

I am currently assisting a well valued award winning client of mine located in the Chester area that are seeking to add to their Technical Support Team. They offer multiple bespoke services across the telecoms industry to their growing client base in order to find the correct solution for them after understanding their requirements.

Opportunity:

My client is looking to expand their team and seeking a versatile, ambitious and driven individual ideally with a background within Telecoms IT Support. The opportunity will be based onsite out of their HQ based closely to Chester. This role offers a chance to contribute to their dynamic environment and grow alongside them as you'll being picking up a plethora of new skills. The vision is that this individual will be a key member of the team and that you will grow as a Telecoms IT professional across a number of key areas within the sector.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within an IT Support based role, ideally within the Telecoms sector but this isn't essential
  • Experience working with Network Hardware e.g. PCs, switches, routers and firewalls
  • Experience with Networking technologies e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs and router configuration
  • Experience with Telephony Systems e.g. Hosted/IP telephony systems and SIP trunks
  • A concise, confident and clear communicator
  • A noticeable passion for learning new technologies and the want to develop professionally

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver outstanding customer service while effectively managing customer expectations
  • To address faults, requests, and inquiries for customers concerning broadband and hosted telephony services
  • Process and fulfil VoIP orders for customers, including hardware provisioning and the potential installation
  • Assume full responsibility for resolving the issue and ensuring regular and proactive updates are provided to both internal users and external customers
  • Deliver product training to customers in order to ensure full understanding of products and services delivered
